“You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.”
John 15:3 NASB
The words above was said by Jesus to his disciples. Looking critically at the above text. I can tell you without taking the verse out of context that the words of Jesus has power to purify. He told his disciples they are clean because of what He has spoken to them.
Today, those same words have the power to purify. Purification is the process of being made clean and whole, Holy. The word of God has the power to purify us among other things
If this is true, then there are words which when spoken to us or we hear, will make us dirty or unclean. The question is, what are you listening to? Who is speaking to you?
You need to answer this question as the answer will help you redirect your focus and attention.
When you read and listen to people, try and find out who is speaking to you; Jesus or your enemy; the Devil.
God says you are priceless
The enemy says you are worthless
God says you are beautifully made
The enemy says you are ugly and unfashionable
God says you are victorious
The enemy says you are defeated and cannot win
God says you are strong
The enemy says you are weak
God says you are healed
The enemy says you are sick
God says you are blessed and no longer under any curse
The enemy says you are under a curse
God says ask for wisdom and you will be wise
The enemy says you do not know anything
God says you are the first
The enemy says you are the last
God says you are rich and lack no good thing
The enemy says you are poor and cannot have any good thing
God says you are safe
The enemy says you are in danger of all diseases.
If a stranger comes and tells you he is your father, I am sure you will not believe him. And when he goes ahead to say things about you, you will not listen or take him seriously.
How then do you take the words spoken by the Devil concerning you seriously?
God is your Father! He is your creator and knows all about you. Pick up your Bible and find out what He says about you!
Believe and live by it!
